Early years
Moshe was born in Queens, New York. He later graduated from Queens College with a bachelor’s degree in psychology.
But academic medicine continued to be his cherished dream. Moshe decided to implement it, becoming a student at Yale Medical School. It happened in 1979.

During 2008-2019, the Gastroenterology Service and Fellowship Program at New York Presbyterian Queens had a talented leader, Moshe. During his tenure, the program was very successful, and it repeatedly received various national and regional research awards.

2020 was marked by Rubin’s new position as a leader in the gastroenterology department of VA Bronx Healthcare System.
